AEW Holds First-Ever Non-Televised Live Event on the House Rules Tour in Troy, Ohio


AEW fans were in for a treat when the wrestling company held its first-ever non-televised live event on the House Rules Tour in Troy, Ohio at the Hobart Arena. The arena was packed, and there was good energy all night as fans were treated to a great wrestling experience. While the lighting could have been better, the venue was not as modern as it could have been. Regardless, AEW made up for it with its impressive lineup and excellent performances.


The event began with Ethan Page defeating Shawn Dean in a quick match. Page then issued an open challenge to anyone in the back, which was answered by none other than FTW Champion Hook. The two wrestlers put on an impressive show, with Hook emerging as the victor.

Wrestling legend Jeff Jarrett also made an appearance, defeating Brian Pillman Jr. in a highly entertaining match. Meanwhile, Ruby Soho defeated local wrestler Haley J, and Skye Blue made an appearance to save Haley from Soho's spray paint. Fans were eager to see Soho take on Blue, but the former decided to save the match for Toni Storm's appearance on AEW Dynamite.


AEW President Tony Khan made an appearance to hype up AEW in Ohio and thank the fans for attending the historic event. He promised that there would be more great wrestling to come in the future.


Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin defeated The Butcher and The Blade in a tag team match, celebrating with a young fan dressed up as Allin. QT Marshall, AEW's Vice President of Show & Creative Coordination, also made his in-ring debut, defeating AEW's Vice President of Talent Development and Coach Pat Buck in a segment that put the two wrestling schools - The Nightmare Factory and Create-A-Pro - against each other.


Britt Baker also made an appearance, defeating the returning Anna Jay by submission, while AEW TNT Champion Powerhouse Hobbs successfully defended his title against Christopher Daniels.

In the main event, ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli and Jon Moxley defeated Big Bill and Lee Moriarty in a tag team match that saw Moxley bleed heavily. Moxley and Castagnoli came through the crowd and received a great reception from the fans.


While the event was not televised, AEW made sure to film the matches and set up the AEW Dark apron, barrier, and other graphics to ensure the fans had a great experience. The first non-televised live event was a huge success, and fans are eagerly awaiting the next one.
