The Elite quartet, instrumental in the creation of AEW, has been at the forefront of the promotion's journey since its official announcement on January 1, 2019. Their decision to sign on for the long term reflects their unwavering commitment to the company they helped build. Tony Khan, AEW's president, expressed his excitement about the re-signings and acknowledged the vital role The Elite has played in shaping the promotion:

"The Young Bucks were among the first to join my vision of creating an international pro wrestling promotion. When Kenny Omega and 'Hangman' Adam Page came on board, it solidified our foundation. From the debut of Dynamite to the present day, all four of them have been instrumental in AEW's success. Now, with their continued presence, we look forward to celebrating many more milestones with our fans worldwide."

Speculation had arisen in the past about The Elite potentially exploring opportunities elsewhere, especially regarding Kenny Omega's rumored interest in WWE. However, all four members chose to remain loyal to AEW, underlining their dedication to fostering the company's growth and success.

Kenny Omega, known for his incredible matches in NJPW and ROH prior to AEW, weighed his options carefully before deciding to stay with the promotion. He expressed his pride in the legacy he has built in the wrestling world and the freedom AEW affords him to explore other passions:

"I considered all possibilities, but ultimately, AEW allows me to continue doing what I love at a high level while pursuing other interests that have become important to me. The wonderful people I've met in this journey have been invaluable, and I'm excited to continue my path here."

For Matt Jackson, one-half of The Young Bucks, staying with AEW was about preserving the essence of the promotion, which they helped establish:

"We are the DNA of AEW, and our presence is essential to the company's identity. AEW may have grown and evolved, but The Elite remains its core. That factor played a significant role in our decision-making process."

Indeed, the star power of The Elite has shone brightly in AEW, with Omega and Page both capturing the AEW World Championship. The Young Bucks have also been a dominant force, holding the AEW World Tag Team Championships and the AEW Trios Championships with Omega. Their in-ring prowess and ability to tell compelling stories have endeared them to fans around the world.

AEW's roster has undoubtedly grown stronger with the addition of major names like CM Punk, Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole, and Saraya. However, securing The Elite's future signifies the promotion's determination to retain its core foundation and maintain the magic that drew fans in from the beginning.

As AEW moves forward, its commitment to its roots and the loyalty of its top stars bodes well for the future. With the 200th episode of Dynamite and the upcoming All In pay-per-view at Wembley Stadium in London on August 27th, AEW continues to break new ground, poised to make wrestling history with one of the biggest crowds ever.

As fans, we can't help but look forward to what The Elite and AEW have in store for us in the coming years. Their journey has been nothing short of extraordinary, and we eagerly anticipate the thrilling chapters yet to be written in the annals of All Elite Wrestling.
