Bob Orton, the WWE Hall of Famer, recently gave an update on his son Randy Orton during an interview with Sportskeeda's Bill Apter at 80's Wrestling Con. Bob discussed his family life, being around wrestling legend Roddy Piper, and his son's current situation.

According to Bob, Randy is currently training, but doctors have advised him against returning to the ring. "He's training so we'll see what happens," Bob said. "I don't know if he feels like going back. If he feels like going back or if he feels like he's ready to go back, I think he might. Then again, he's pretty well taken care of. I don't think he needs to. I think the doctors have told him not to."

Bob also mentioned that Randy will ultimately do what he wants to do, saying, "Randy will do what Randy is gonna do, he always does." Randy has been out of action since last summer and underwent back fusion surgery in November. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently reported that Randy is "nowhere close" to being able to return to the ring.
The Orton family has a long history in the world of professional wrestling, with Bob and Randy both being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Fans of the Ortons will undoubtedly be hoping for Randy's speedy recovery, but ultimately his health and well-being are the most important factors to consider.
