AEW has been dropping some subtle (and not-so-subtle) hints that they're interested in signing Edge. On the latest episode of Dynamite, Jim Ross name-dropped Edge, even though he didn't say his real name, Adam Copeland. This is the first time that an AEW commentator has mentioned Edge by name.

In addition to the name-drop, AEW also had a Golden Vampire character appear on the show. This character was wearing a mask and CM Punk under it. It was a clear reference to Edge's Brood character from the Attitude Era. The Golden Vampire also pulled off his mask at one point, which is a reference to Edge's attack on Cena in 2006 at the ECW One Night Stand Event and pulling off his motorcycle helmet.

These references to Edge have led to speculation that he could be on his way to AEW. Edge's contract with WWE is reportedly up in the next few weeks officially, and he has said that he is open to exploring all of his options.
So, what do you think? Is AEW teasing Edge? Do you think the chances of him signing with AEW have increased since Friday?
**My thoughts:**
I think it's definitely possible that AEW is teasing Edge. The name-drop from JR was a pretty clear sign, and the Golden Vampire character was a more subtle reference. I also think the timing is right. Edge's contract with WWE is up soon, and he has said that he is open to new challenges.
I think the chances of Edge signing with AEW have definitely increased since Friday. The Golden Vampire character was a pretty big hint, and it's clear that AEW is interested in him. I wouldn't be surprised if he shows up in AEW in the near future. Remember all the references to CM Punk's return such as Kenny Omega wearing a Cookie Monster shirt.

Of course, nothing is confirmed yet. Edge could still end up staying with WWE, or he could sign with another promotion. But I think the signs are pointing to AEW.
