In an interview with After the Bell, Seth Rollins made the bold claim that professional wrestling is in a boom period. He cited the success of AEW All In: London, which drew over 80,000 fans to a stadium in London, as evidence of this. He also pointed to the fact that WrestleMania 38 broke the all-time gate record for the event, and that there are now seven or eight different professional wrestling television programs on the air each week.

Rollins said that he is "so proud" of the wrestling industry right now, and that he believes it is "healthier physically than it's ever been." He also said that he believes the current generation of wrestlers is the best ever, and that the talent roster is "beyond what any generation has ever put forward."
Rollins' comments are certainly a positive sign for the future of professional wrestling. The industry has been through some tough times in recent years, but it seems to be on the upswing right now. With so many different companies competing for fans' attention, it's an exciting time to be a wrestling fan.
In addition to the factors mentioned by Rollins, there are a few other reasons to believe that professional wrestling is in a boom period. First, the rise of social media has made it easier for wrestlers to connect with fans and build their own followings. Second, the popularity of video games like WWE 2K has helped to introduce new fans to the genre. And third, the increasing availability of streaming services has made it easier for fans to watch wrestling from all over the world.

One wrestling fan who has been predicting this boom period for years is me. In 2018, prior to the launch of AEW, I told my friend Steroid Steve that you saw this movement happening and that pro wrestling would be bigger than the UFC again.
My prediction was based on a number of factors, including the growing popularity of independent wrestling, the increasing number of streaming services, and the declining popularity of traditional cable television. I also believed that the current generation of wrestlers was more talented and more diverse than ever before.
It's clear that I was right about the future of professional wrestling. The industry is currently in a boom period, and it's only going to get bigger and better in the years to come.
Of course, there are still challenges facing the wrestling industry. One of the biggest challenges is the decline of traditional cable television, which has led to a decrease in viewership for wrestling shows. However, the industry is adapting to this challenge by moving more of its content to streaming services.

Seth Rollins will defend his WWE Heavyweight Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura at WWE Payback on Saturday, September 2. The match is expected to be a hard-hitting affair, with both men looking to prove their dominance.
Rollins is the current champion, but he is also dealing with an injured back. This could give Nakamura an advantage, as he is a master of submission holds. However, Rollins is a wily veteran, and he is sure to have a few tricks up his sleeve.
The match is also personal for Rollins. Nakamura turned on Rollins after they teamed together in a six-man tag match, and Rollins is looking to get revenge. He has also been talking about how he wants to be the longest-reigning WWE Heavyweight Champion in history, and he knows that a win over Nakamura would be a big step towards achieving that goal.

The WWE Heavyweight Championship is one of the most prestigious titles in professional wrestling, and it is sure to be a hotly contested match. Rollins and Nakamura are two of the best wrestlers in the world, and they are sure to put on a show for the fans.
It is too early to say who will win the match, but it is sure to be a close one. The WWE Universe is in for a treat, and they can expect to see some amazing wrestling action at WWE Payback.
Overall, the evidence suggests that professional wrestling is in a good place right now. There are more fans than ever before, the talent roster is stacked, and the industry is constantly evolving. It will be interesting to see how the industry continues to grow and change in the years to come.
