Looking back, the Sami Zayn storyline was clearly the peak of the Bloodline angle. Every good number the Bloodline story had after that was on the back of what Sami Zayn brought to the story.
During the angle with Sami Zayn, Roman Reigns was at the peak of his merchandise sales in WWE. He was number one, ahead of everyone, including Steve Austin who is almost always in the top five, if not number one, for WWE since 1998.

Now, Roman Reigns is no longer on top. That belongs to LA Knight as far as merch sales and fan reaction. The interest is down. The ratings are not, to their credit, but the crowd responses are definitely weaker. And many fans like are friend Steroid Steve have been frustrated with the same ending to every title defense.
WWE found gold with Sami Zayn, and to be fair, they actually took advantage of it. But now, Sami Zayn is not as hot. The Bloodline is not as hot. I will say the reaction for Sami in his hometown in Canada was unbelievable recently.
Paul Heyman says we're in the bottom of the third inning, but the fourth inning looks like it might be one of those dull innings where nothing happens on the field, while the second inning saw a grand slam, knocked out of the park.
So, what the hell do we do from here? The answer appears to be, just take them off TV, I guess. Jey says he's done with WWE so we have to wait to see how long they drag out the brother vs brother or should I say Uso vs Uso match.

But remember this: The Bloodline peaked under Sami Zayn. That was the best it ever was. The most fun WWE had been this decade. I know I had a blast.

Here are some of the reasons why the Sami Zayn storyline was the peak of the Bloodline angle:
* It was a fresh and original story.
* It had a great mix of comedy and drama.
* It got the fans invested in the characters and the outcome.
* It helped Roman Reigns become the top star in WWE.
* It helped The Usos become more popular.

The Bloodline angle has had some good moments since Sami Zayn left, but it has never been the same. The angle is now starting to feel stale and predictable.
If WWE wants to get the Bloodline back to its peak, they need to find a way to recapture the magic of the Sami Zayn storyline. They need to find a new character who can bring the same level of excitement and intrigue to the angle.
It's not clear who that character could be, but it's something that WWE needs to figure out if they want to keep the Bloodline as one of the top factions in WWE.
